Year 3

Welcome to Year 3.

This is an exciting year for your child as they begin their transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

In Year 3, our staff will help our children build on their independent skills they developed in Year 2 but also enhance their resilience to challenging problems across the curriculum.

We have high expectations for our children, their behaviour, their attitude and their outcomes which will see them through to be a successful number 3 learner.

The year ahead brings the most important part of their Catholic life so far as we guide and prepare them for Sacrament of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

Gallery

Learning about our bodies and how to stay healthy. We made a skeleton from leaves, stones and twigs and labelled the bones.

We used 'Graffiti Maths' to make a poster showing all the different ways we can make 100. We used our four number operations and found lots of other ways too!
